Mauerpark Flohmarkt Berlin

Mauerpark is a popular destination for both locals and tourists in Berlin. Especially on a Sunday, Mauerpark is an absolute must-visit for anyone spending the weekend in Berlin. The park offers a variety of activities, from music and art to food and drink. Here is an overview of the things you can experience on a Sunday in Mauerpark.

Flea market

The Mauerpark flea market is a well-known destination for bargain hunters and vintage lovers. Here you can find everything from second-hand clothing and jewelry to vinyl records and antiques. There are both private and commercial sellers, so it's important to keep an eye on prices. The flea market opens at 9 am and lasts until late afternoon.

Karaoke

One of the main attractions of Mauerpark is the karaoke in the amphitheater. Every Sunday from April to October at 3 pm, visitors can sing their favorite songs and be supported by an enthusiastic crowd.

Street music

Mauerpark is known for its vibrant street music scene. Along the park, you can find various musicians and bands performing their music and inviting people to dance. Clapping, singing along, and cheering is explicitly allowed and even encouraged here.

Food and drink

Mauerpark offers a variety of options for food and drinks. There are numerous food stalls and food trucks offering a wide selection of international dishes. Of course, there are also numerous drink stalls offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Mauersegler is a staple of Mauerpark, where you can get cool drinks even on other days of the week - and on Sundays, hot fries, currywurst, and bratwurst. If you want to save some money, you can also buy something to quench your thirst at one of the many convenience stores (Spätis).

Art and creativity

Mauerpark is also a place where you can admire the creativity of people. There are various artists exhibiting their works and offering them for sale. There are also workshops and activities where you can get creative yourself.

Relax

Mauerpark is also a perfect place to relax. In addition to some swings, there are many green spaces and benches where you can rest and enjoy the atmosphere. Just sit on a blanket, watch the colorful hustle and bustle, and enjoy the vibe of the city with a Späti beer.
